花序对叶生或超腋生，简单的蝎尾状，聚伞状或聚伞状伞形。叶全缘，常双生，无毛，稀在下面叶腋内具疏柔毛。花冠白色，近5裂或深5裂。
大部分在南美洲，2种在印度，其中1种延至我国。
